Bio:
Born in the UK and raised in Canada, Amrit Shergill found his passion for movement in the forests, mountains, and coastlines of British Columbia. Of Southeast Asian descent, his love for running, biking, snowboarding, and hiking was often met with confusion from his family and friends. Few could understand his deep connection to the Land. Yet, nature became his teacher, shaping his resilience, patience, and perspective on life.
As his adventures grew, so did his ambition. Fast-and-light pursuits became his signature, chasing endurance challenges that pushed the limits of body and mind. Growing up, he rarely saw people who looked like him in the outdoor world’s aspirational imagery. Today, he moves with the purpose, of expanding the narrative of who belongs in these spaces, proving that the "hero" in adventure storytelling is more expansive than ever.
